Heard Mr. Chandane, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner.

The challenge in this Writ Petition is to the legality and validity of Order dated 2nd December 2023 by which warrant for attachment of salary of the Petitioner has been issued. 3.

The Petitioner is the Government servant working in the Western Railways as In-Charge SSE Signal, D.R.M Office. 4.

The impugned Order has been passed as the Petitioner has failed to pay the maintenance to the wife.

The Petition is filed after a period of about 1 years and 2 months. In any case, the Order granting maintenance has attained finality and the impugned Order has been passed in the execution proceedings.

Accordingly, no interference under the writ jurisdiction of this Court under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India is warranted.

The Writ Petition is dismissed, however, with no order as to costs.
