CORAM : M. S. KARNIK & & ASHWIN D. BHOBE, JJ.

DATE : 19th MARCH , 2025 P.C. :- 1.

Heard Ms. Ranjana Todankar, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners. It is the contention of the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners that the Petitioners are not given opportunity to apply online for the purpose of registration of the names of the security guards concerned with the present petition, with the Respondent No.1 Board and for allotting them to Respondent No.2-Establishment.

2.

Learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent No.1Board submits that the online portal is functional, however, the online applications are accepted as and when the advertisements are issued for the purpose of making allotments for the General Categories which situation has not arisen as of now. Learned Counsel, however, submitted that in respect of the Security Guards making an application under any special category, it is always open for such guards to make an appropriate application, registration as

well as allotments.

3.

In our opinion, offline applications made by the Petitioners can be considered by the Respondent No.1-Board on its own merits and an appropriate decision thereon be taken in accordance with law. All contentions of the parties are expressly kept open. Decision taken on the said application be communicated to the parties. Such application be considered within a period of three weeks from today.

4.

This Petition is disposed of. No costs.
