It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the respondent no.1 has failed to constitute a Divisional Fee Regulatory Committee, as required by the provisions of Section 7 of the Maharashtra Educational Institutions (Regulation of Fee) Act, 2011. Thus, despite having filed an appeal under Section 6 of the Act of 2011, there is no Committee to decide the same.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 15th April 2025. The learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for respondent nos.1 and 2. Respondent nos.3 and 4 be served through speed post along with a copy of the present order and necessary affidavit of service be filed before returnable date.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader to obtain instructions as regards constitution of the Divisional Fee Regulatory Committee under Section 6 of the Act of 2011.

Respondent no.4 to file its response presently with regard to prayer clause (d) of the writ petition.
