The only prayer made on behalf of the petitioners is for a direction to be issued to the respondent no.10 - the State Government, through its Department of Revenue, to consider the petitioners' application for grant of interim relief in the Revision Application preferred by the applicants under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. 2.

Considering the fact that the Revision Application has been filed on 18th / 19th December 2024, the interest of justice would be served by issuing the following directions :- (i) The State Government, through the Competent Authority, shall consider the prayer for interim relief in the Revision Application preferred by the petitioners within a period of two weeks of receiving copy of this order.

(ii) The petitioners shall serve copy of this order on respondent nos.1 to 9 to enable them to appear before the State Government.

By clarifying that all issues on merits are kept open for being considered by the State Government, the Writ Petition is disposed of with aforesaid directions.
