The Petitioner joined employment on 1.1.2017, after the advent of the compulsion of having State TET qualification. She is working with the 'Anglo Urdu Boys High School- Pune' at Camp Pune. She received an approval on 31.3.2020. She then received the approval as an Assistant Teacher on 4th September, 2020. The approval granted to the Petitioner is intact. She passed her C-TET Exam on 27.12.2019. Shalarth I/D is not granted only on the ground that the Petitioner did not acquire the TET qualification prior to 31.3.2019 and as such, payment of salary is truncated.

The case of the Petitioner is squarely covered by the Judgment of this Court dated 11th September, 2025 in Sagar Dattatray Chorghe & Others v/s. State of Maharashtra & Others (Writ Petition No. 7943 of 2024 and Writ Petition No. 861 of 2025). 3.

For the same reasons, this Petition is disposed off. The Petitioner would be granted Shalarth I/D, if there is no other legal impediment. If we notice that an unreasonable stand is taken by the department for raising frivolous objections, we would take Department to task.
