Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 7 May 2025. 2.

The petitioners claim to be purchasers from the landlord prior to 1976. They contend that they purchased the property based on a statement made by the tenant that he is not intending to purchase the property, and resultantly proceedings under Section 32-G were dropped as ineffective in the year 1962. Thereafter, in the year 1976, the tenant filed appeal, which led to the proceedings up to this Court, and the landlord on concession agreed for remand of the matter. Resultantly in the second round of litigation based on concession made by the landlord, the impugned orders were passed.

Hence, there shall be ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (b) till 7 May 2025.
