The Petitioner, who is a Vanrakshak and is not a graduate, has preferred this Petition on 12th February, 2025 seeking to challenge an examination conducted on 1st June, 2014 whose results are already declared, 11 years ago and the selected and appointed persons have already settled down in their positions. The learned Addl. GP is right in opposing this Petition on the ground of gross delay.

In our view, appointments made after a proper selection process, must be given stability. Had the petitioner approached this Court within a reasonable time, before the rights of the selected Gauri Gaekwad

925.WP-4551-2025.odt candidates had crystallized, this Court would have scrutinized the challenge. After 11 years of the selected candidates settling down in their positions, it would be unfair to destabilize such a selection process and that too, at the behest of a litigant who has been sleeping for 11 years.
