The order impugned arises out of Section 152 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960, against which the petitioner has alternative efficacious remedy of filing revision under Section 154 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960. A Full Bench of this Court in Shireen Sami Gadiali & Anr. v. Spenta Cooperative Housing Society Limited, reported in 2011 (3) AIR Bom R 465 has held that the remedy of revision under Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 is as of right.

Hence, keeping all questions raised by the petitioner open to be agitated before the Revisional Authority, the writ petition stands disposed of.

However, for a period of three weeks from today, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.
