P.C. :

The petitioner secured "27" marks in the theory paper of "Interpretation of Statutes" at Semester-VIII of the Five Years LL.B. Course. She sought re-evaluation of the said marks in terms of a circular issued by Shivaji University in that regard. However, on re-evaluation, the said marks were reduced to "16".

In accordance with Clause 19 of the aforesaid circular, the Petitioner contends that since the reduction of marks from "27" to "16" is greater than 20% marks secured in the said subject, re-evaluation ought to have been permitted. This request has been refused by the University by its communication dated 21st November 2024.

For the present, issue notice only to respondent nos.1 and 3 to 5, returnable on 30th April 2025.
