TUESDAY, 17 th JUNE 2025 P.C :
At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press for prayer clause (a) and therefore, we are not going into the merits of prayer clause (a). Learned counsel for the petitioner only presses for prayer clause (b), which is in the alternative i.e. a direction to the respondent No.2-Joint Charity Commissioner, Worli, Mumbai to decide the petitioner's miscellaneous application No. 13/2024 and other applications dated 7th June 2024, 26th June 2024 and 23rd September 2024 (both Reference Nos.109 and 110/2024-2025) in M.A. No. 13/2024 and requisition under monthly reports submitted till 5th December 2024 within a time-bound manner.
Learned A.G.P as well as learned counsel appearing for the proposed intervener have no objection, if a direction is given to the Joint Charity Commissioner, Worli, to decide the 2/4
petitioner's applications as stated aforesaid, in a time-bound manner.
Considering that all the applications which are pending before the Joint Charity Commissioner pertain to filling up of vacancies of teaching and non-teaching staff, will have a bearing on filing up of vacancies of teaching and non-teaching staff and for promotions, transfer and all appointments of the staff in the Schools of Seva Ashram Trust, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondent No.2-Joint Charity Commissioner, Worli, Mumbai, to decide the aforesaid applications as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within three weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
Petition is disposed of on the aforesaid terms. In view of the above order, Interim Application also stands disposed of.
3/4
Petition be listed under the caption `for compliance' of this order on 22nd July 2025.
All concerned to act on the authenticated copy of this order.
