BENCH AT AURANGABAD 926 WRIT PETITION NO. 4821 OF 2025 Amar Abhiman Koli
VERSUS
The State Of Maharashtra Through Its Secretary And Another ...
Mr. Sushant C. Yeramwar, Advocate for the Petitioner Mr. S. K. Tambe, AGP for Respondents/State Mr. M. Y. Chavan h/f Mr. D. S. Bagul, Advocate for Respondent No.2 ...
CORAM : NITIN B. SURYAWANSHI AND ABASAHEB D. SHINDE, JJ.
Dated : JUNE 09, 2026 PER COURT :- 1.
The prayers made in this petition are misconceived. The petitioner seeks appointment on compassionate ground. The fact remains that his father had given up his tribe claim and was placed on supernumerary post. Since the petitioner's father was serving on a supernumerary post, the petitioner is not entitled to claim compassionate appointment as per the policy of the government. There is no merit in the petition. The petition is therefore dismissed.
