The Petitioner is an 18 year old student who aspires to seek admission in a professional course coming June, 2025. His biological paternal grandfather is granted the Validity Certificate of Thakar Scheduled Tribe Category. His father was granted the Validity Certificate by the order of this Court, dated 1st March, 2018 in Writ Petition No. 4299 of 2008. Four of the close blood relatives from the paternal side preferred Writ Petition No.5171 of 2015, Writ
Petition No.5008 of 2015, Writ Petition No.4924 of 2015 and Writ Petition No.4870 of 2015, and have also been granted the Validity Certificates under the orders of this Court and the real uncle and real aunt from the paternal side have also been granted the Validity Certificate by the Committee.

The learned AGP submits that the claim of the Petitioner would be decided within a period of 30 days. 3.
We find that the Petitioner's case is squarely covered by the law laid down by this Court in Apoorva D/O Vinay Nichale Vs. Divisional Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee No.1 Nagpur, 2010
(6) Mh.L.J. 401 and Maharashtra Adiwasi Thakur Jamat Swarakshan Samiti vs. The State of Maharashtra and others, AIR 2023 SC 1657. We therefore expect the Committee to take a pragmatic stand and refer to the aforesaid judgments of the Court and the Validity Certificates granted to a long list of paternal relatives of the Petitioner and pass a reasoned order, on or before 10th June, 2025.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
