It appears that the Respondent, who is Professor as well as the Head of the Department at Abasaheb Garware College, Pune, and highly educated person, has no regard for the statements made before this Court.

The Consent Terms were filed before the Family Court and the said Consent Terms were drawn with the assistance of the learned Principal Judge (Retired) of the Family Court who was appointed as a Mediator. However, after filing the Consent Terms, the Respondent has withdrawn his consent.

In this Court, this Writ Petition is listed on number of dates and all along it was expressed that dispute between the parties could be resolved. However, the Respondent on every date has changed his statement.

Accordingly, no order could be passed before the Christmas vacation.

Stand over to 20th January 2026.

Till the hearing of this Writ Petition, there shall be stay in terms of prayer clause [C].
