An order challenged in this petition is only a communication by the Electrical Inspector, Jalna to the Executive Engineer, MSEDCL, Jalna, Division - 1. The communication is in respect of untoward incident that took place where a person received an injury by coming in contact of line of tension of the MSEDCL. The Electrical Inspector conducted inspection and on the same basis communicated that the petitioner - company is liable to pay the compensation to the said person.

This Court finds that, this is not an order passed by quasi judicial or judicial authority and it is a simple communication. This Court, thus, finds that, this petition is not maintainable. The writ petition, therefore, is dismissed by keeping liberty open to the petitioner to avail alternative remedy if provided under law.
