The instant writ petition challenges an order dated 27th January 2025 passed by the Industrial Court at Pune, in an application filed under Section 30(2) of the Maharashtra Recognition of Trade Unions and Prevention of Unfair Labour Practices Act, 1971 (MRTU and PULP Act).

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the basic order of suspension was issued against the respondent under the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1958 and as per the statutory scheme, an appeal against such an order of suspension would lie before the Block Development Officer. Be that as it may, since the impugned order has been passed
bipin prithiani 19-wp-5222.25.doc by the Industrial Court, while exercising power under the MRTU and PULP Act, 1971, as per the extant assignment such a writ petition arising from Industrial/Labour Laws is to be taken up by a Bench presided over by Milind N. Jadhav, J.

Hence, the Registry is directed to list this petition before the appropriate Bench.

The petitioners are also at liberty to move the appropriate Bench, if any urgent interim orders are sought. MANISH PITALE, J.
