The grievance of the petitioners is that respondent no. 2 is not implementing the order dated 12/02/2024 passed by the Additional Collector in exercise of jurisdiction under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. Learned counsel for respondents no. 1 & 2 invited our attention to the notice dated 12/12/2024 annexed to the petition at page no. 129. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that in reply filed by the respondents to the said notice, respondent no.3 admitted that he has not complied with the notice.

Learned AGP submitted that pursuance to notice, matter is listed on 22/07/2025 for further hearing. Since the notice has been issued, we direct respondent no.2 to take the matter to its logical conclusion as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of 2 months from today.
