The petitioner is possessing tribe certificate but in an incorrect form. His application seeking certificate in the correct form i.e. form 'C' has been pending with the respondent/competent authority under the Maharashtra Act No. XXIII of 2001.

Writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent competent authority on 02.05.2024, surrender the original tribe certificate which is in incorrect form, whereupon the respondent shall issue a fresh tribe certificate of Koli Mahadev (29) in form 'C" within one week thereafter.
