Learned counsel for Respondent No.1 points out that a praecipe was moved on 14th January 2026, bringing to the notice of this Court that on 8th January 2026, a Division Bench of this Court (Coram: R.I. Chagla and Advait Sethna, JJ) had directed listing of this Petition for dismissal on 14th January 2026, but the Petition was not shown in the cause list on that day.

In that light, we had directed the Writ Petition to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal' today i.e., 22nd January 2026. 4.

A further grievance made on behalf of Respondent No. 1 is that even today the Petition is not taken up on the cause list. varsha

We were inclined to assign a date to this Petition, to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal', when the Petitioner appeared in person and submitted that the Advocate representing her is facing certain medical issues and that she may have to take appropriate steps for making alternative arrangements.

In that light, the Petitioner appearing in person today seeks adjournment and prays for the listing of the Petition in the month of February 2026.

The Petition shall now be listed on 16th February 2026, under the caption 'for directions'.
