By this writ petition, the petitioners are taking exception to the common judgment and order dated 08.04.2025 passed by the respondent - Caste Scrutiny Committee by which the tribe claim of the petitioners of belonging to 'Koli Mahadev' scheduled tribe has been invalidated.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that all the petitioners are cousins inter se and submit that beside several other validities granted by the Caste Scrutiny Committee to the blood relatives of the petitioners, the real brother of the petitioner No.1 namely Yash Datta Kamble, whose tribe claim was invalidated have preferred Writ Petition No.11462/2023 and this Court by an order dated 14.09.2023 after considering the entire record including the contrary entries have granted conditional validity to the said Yash Datta Kamble.

Learned AGP though have tried to point out certain contra entries in the record, however, he concedes that since the real brother of the petitioner No.1 has been granted validity, the same mode may be adopted. Considering this fact, we pass the following order:

ORDER

(i) The judgment and order dated 08.04.2025 passed by the Scrutiny Committee is quashed and set aside.

(ii) The Scrutiny Committee shall issue tribe validity certificate of 'Koli Mahadev' scheduled tribe to the petitioners forthwith which shall be subject to result of the
