This Writ Petition has been placed today pursuant to the Order dated 9th January, 2026 by which this Court had directed the Chief Executive Officer Smt. Neha Bhosale to remain present. There were earlier directions for her remaining present and which were not complied with. Today also Smt. Neha Bhosale, CEO, Zilla Parishad, Raigad is not present in Court.

The learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent No.1 - CEO, Zilla Parishad, Raigad - Alibag states that upon the Petitioner making an application for medical reimbursement, decision will be taken by the Respondent No.1 within a period of two weeks from the receipt of application. The statement is accepted. 3.

The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner has referred to the prior Order dated 14th October, 2025 passed by this Court wherein this Court had considered the health condition of the Petitioner and particularly the fact that the Petitioner is unable to move out of his bed and is presently being fed fluids through tubes. This Court had directed the Zilla Parishad to forward a proposal for converting the Petitioner's post into a supernumerary post. It was observed that if the Petitioner suffers the worst, prior to his date of superannuation, then an eligible family member in such circumstances shall be considered for compassionate appointment, notwithstanding that the Government has converted the Petitioner's present post into a supernumerary post. The compliance report of these directions were required to be placed before this Court on 15th December, 2025.

By the said Order dated 9th January, 2026, this Court had considered that the directions were still required to be complied with. In view thereof, the CEO, Zilla Parishad, Raigad - Alibag was directed to remain present before this Court. 5.

Mr. Kakade, the learned Additional Government Pleader has stated that decision regarding the Petitioner being reinstated to supernumerary post of Live Stock Supervisor with all consequential service benefits including the payment of backwages shall be taken within a period of two weeks from today. The statement is accepted. 6.

Place the Writ Petition for compliance on 28th January, 2026.

Ms. Neha Bhosale, CEO, Zilla Parishad, Raigad - Alibag is directed to remain present on the next date.
