Ms. Neha Bhosale, CEO, Zilla Parishad - Alibag was by the said order directed to remain present in Court. 1/3

Earlier also, she had been directed to remain present, but had not complied with the said orders dated 7th January 2026 and 9th January 2026 by remaining present.

Today also, Ms. Neha Bhosale has addressed a letter dated 27th January 2026 stating that due to unavoidable circumstances, she cannot remain present today. In view of her persistent refusal to remain present in Court, inspite of directions issued by this Court, in the event she does not remain present in Court on the next date, we would then consider it appropriate to issue notice of contempt to her.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner is yet to make an application for medical reimbursement, which will be made within a period of one week from today. As per paragraph 2 of the said order, the statement of the learned Counsel for the Respondent No. 1 had been recorded viz. that upon the Petitioner making the application for medical reimbursement, decision will be taken by Respondent No. 1 within a period of two weeks from receipt of the application. This statement had been accepted by this Court.

The above statement shall be complied with upon receipt of the application of the Petitioner for medical reimbursement. 7.
The learned Assistant G.P. for the Respondent-State has tendered internal communication dated 27th January 2026, which shows that G.R. is yet to be issued with regard to supernumerary post and the matter is pending before the concerned Registrar. 8.
Place the Writ Petition for compliance on 12th February 2026.
