By this Petition, the only relief pressed by the learned counsel for the Petitioner is prayer clause (a), which is a direction to the Respondent No.1-Reserve Bank of India ('RBI') to decide the Petitioner's representation dated 15th March 2025 expeditiously and preferably within ten days.

Learned counsel appearing for the Respondent No.1-RBI states that the appropriate authority has not received the representation sent by the Petitioner. He submits that instead of Shivgan 1/2
2-aswp-6101-2025 .doc sending representation to the Ombudsman, the representation has been addressed to the authorized officer of the RBI, who is not the competent authority.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned counsel for the Respondent No.1-RBI, the learned counsel for the Petitioner states that an appropriate representation will be made to the Ombudsman, Reserve Bank of India within one week from today. 4.
If such a representation is made to the appropriate authority, Respondent No.1-RBI to decide the same expeditiously and in any event, within four weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.

Petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms. 6.
We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the representation and as such, keep all contentions of all the parties open.
