At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks leave to amend the prayer clauses. Leave granted. Amendment be carried out forthwith. Re-verification is dispensed with. 1/3

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

By this petition, the petitioners have impugned the order dated 29th December 2014, by which, the Chief Executive Officer, Maharashtra State Board of Wakfs, Aurangabad has postponed the election of Muslim Jamat, Juma Masjid, (Dehu Road Mosque), Dehu Road Cantonment District Pune, till further orders. The said order dated 29th December 2014 is at Exhibit `A' at page 12 of the petition. The petitioners have also impugned the order dated 19th January 2023, by which, the matter was closed for orders by the C.E.O, Maharashtra State Board of Wakfs, however, till date, no order has been passed thereon.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.2the C.E.O, Maharashtra State Wakf Board, Aurangabad, on instructions, states that the application made by the petitioners 2/3

before the respondent No.2 will be decided within six to eight weeks from today. She further states that the matter which is closed for orders on 19th January 2023 will also be decided within the said period. Statements accepted.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the petition. Petition is disposed of accordingly. List the matter on 10th February 2026 under the caption `for compliance' of the statements made by the learned counsel for the respondent No.2.
