This petition has been filed for a limited purpose of seeking direction to respondent - Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner of belonging to 'Tokare Koli' scheduled tribe which is pending with respondent - scrutiny committee since 26.09.2013.

This Court by an order dated 19.06.2025 have already protected the services of the petitioner. In that view of the matter

2 92.WP.6227.25.odt we direct the respondent - scrutiny committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of nine (9) months from today. Needless to state that till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided, the interim protection granted by this Court would continue. 4.

We make it clear that the protection granted by this Court will operate only till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided and the petitioner would not claim any equities. With this direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. (ABASAHEB D. SHINDE, J.) (SANDIPKUMAR C. MORE, J.) habeeb/
