The petitioners have impugned the show-cause-notice issued to the petitioners. The said show-cause-notice is dated 4th April 2025.

Mr. Kakade, learned Addl.G.P. raises a preliminary objection. He states that the petition is immature, inasmuch as, the petitioners have only been issued a show-cause-notice. He submits that till date, no decision has been taken. He further submits that if N. S. Chitnis 1/2

6-wp.6460.2025.doc any decision is taken which is adverse to the petitioners, it is open for the petitioners, to challenge the same.

In view of the preliminary objection raised by Mr. Kakade, learned Addl.G.P., learned counsel for the petitioners, seeks leave to withdraw this petition with liberty to file a fresh petition, if the occasion, so arises i.e. in the event an adverse order is passed, pursuant to the show-cause-notice.

Petition is accordingly disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the petition and as such all contentions of all parties on merits are kept open.
