At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondents raises a preliminary objection. He states that the petition is not maintainable before this Court and that the appropriate jurisdiction to file the aforesaid petition/complaint is the State of Karnataka. 2.
In view of the preliminary objection raised by the learned counsel for the respondents, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw this petition with liberty to file an N. S. Chitnis 1/2
9-wp.6566.2025.doc appropriate proceeding before the appropriate forum in the State of Karnataka.

Petition is accordingly disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the petition and as such all contentions of all parties on merits are kept open.
