Heard learned Advocate for the Petitioners who are the owners of land. Also heard the learned AGP. 2.

The only prayer pressed during arguments in this case is for deciding the representations dated 9th July 1970 and 1st April 2004. The Petitioner is not pressing the representation dated 1st April 2024 for compensation. The only prayer made in the representation dated 1st April 2004 is to mutate the area of the land on 7/12 extract that is to say only to mention the area of land which is acquired for defence purpose and to enter the remaining land in the name of the Petitioner.

Learned AGP submitted that if such application is freshly made, they will decide it as early as possible within a period of six weeks. In view of that, the writ petition can be disposed of by passing following order:

ORDER

(1) The Petitioner is at liberty to make fresh representation only in respect of entering the remaining land (excluding land acquired for defence purpose) in his name on 7/12 extract withn a period of two weeks from today addressed to Sub-Divisonal officer, Nashik.

(2) If such representation is made, let the Sub-Divisional officer to decide it as early as possible, not later than six weeks.

(3) Writ Petition is disposed of.
