The Petitioners admit that, at the time of adoption, no provision of the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act was adhered to or complied with.

We have pointed out a recent judgment delivered by this Court in Mangesh Bhaskarrao Manwatkar and Ors. v/s. Union of India and Anr.1 The learned Advocate for the Petitioners submits that the biological mother is now available and willing to get the Judgment dated 30th March, 2026 in Civil Writ Petition No.16232 of 2025. In case such a registration of the adoption, strictly in accordance with the rules, is done, the Petitioners are at liberty to avail of a remedy as is permissible in law.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off. 5.
