In the facts and circumstances of the present case, we are satisfied that respondent No.2 the Chief Executive Officer, Kolhapur Zilla Parishad can be directed to decide the representation made by the petitioner on 25.03.2021 for payment of pending salary and other allowances on its own merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date when this order is placed on record.
