We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and gone through the memo of petition.

The appeal preferred by the petitioner before the Chairman of the Standing Committee, Pune Municipal Corporation under Section 56 (4) of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, 1949 is pending since 24.08.2023.

We are informed that at present the Administrator is looking after the affairs of Municipal Corporation. In the facts and circumstances of the present case, we are satisfied that the Administrator of the Pune Municipal Corporation can be directed to decide the said appeal within a period of six weeks from 14.07.2025 when this order will be placed on his record. Ordered accordingly.
