The Petitioners in these two Writ Petitions are said to be related to each other. Their claims for seeking Validity Certificates of 'Koli Mahadev', Scheduled Tribe, are pending adjudication.

The learned AGP submits, on instructions, that the vigilance cell inquiry is pending in all these cases and would be
*2* completed expeditiously. He submits that these claims would be decided within a period of four months.

We call upon the Scrutiny Committee to endeavour to decide the claims of these Petitioners at the earliest and even prior to four months as suggested by the learned AGP. The Petitioners would cooperate in the vigilance cell inquiry. In view of the above, these Writ Petitions are disposed off by recording the statement made by the learned AGP. The Petitioners shall refrain from seeking adjournment on unreasonable or trivial ground.

The Petitioner (Satish Krishna Chintal) shall tender an affidavit undertaking to his Employer within 15 (fifteen) days
*3* from today, stating therein that he would not seek any increment/ pay fixation/ promotion/ service benefit, etc. until his claim is validated either by the Scrutiny Committee or by this Court. If such affidavit is filed, his service shall not be terminated, only for the reason that he does not have a validity certificate. Copy of this affidavit undertaking shall also be filed on record in this petition, within 15 days from today, failing which, the protection granted to him shall stand vacated.
