The petitioner with a prayer seeking a direction to the Education Officer (Secondary) Zilla Parishad, Palghar, DistrictPalghar-respondent no.3 to grant approval to his services as Assistant Teacher has filed this writ petition. 2.

The petitioner is seeking the aforesaid direction in the light of the proposal dated 18th August 2023 vide O.W.No.82/2023-24. 3.

From writ averments, we gather that the proposal dated 18th August 2023 vide O.W.No.82/2023-24 is pending before the Education Officer (Secondary) awaiting directions in the light of the RAJESHRI PRAKASH AHER letter dated 30th October 2023 at page no.46 of the paper book vide RAJESHRI PRAKASH AHER Date: 2025.07.28 11:45:43 +0530 Rajeshri Aher

As regards the prayer made by the petitioner for a direction to the Education Officer (Secondary) to grant approval, we may indicate that this Court is not inclined to issue any such directions as such a decision shall be taken by the statutory Authority and not by the Court. However, we are inclined to issue a direction to the Education Officer (Secondary) to take a decision on the proposal dated 18th August 2023 vide O.W.No.82/2023-24 regarding grant of approval to the services of the petitioner as the Assistant Teacher.

Let the decision in that regard be taken within eight weeks from today in terms of the relevant Government Resolutions/Orders etc.
