By this petition, the petitioner has impugned the Demand Notice dated 12th March, 2025, asking the petitioner to pay the stamp duty alongwith penalty.

Learned A.G.P raises a preliminary objection. She states that the petitioner has an alternate efficacious remedy of filing an Wakodikar 1/2

911-WP-7432-2025.doc appeal for adjudication of the stamp duty and issuing Demand Notice. 3.

In view of the preliminary objection, learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to file appropriate proceeding before the appropriate forum, in accordance with law.

Petition is accordingly disposed of as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the petition and as such, all contentions of all parties are kept open. 6.
