The Petitioner had earlier approached this Court in Writ Petition No. 1934 of 2025. By order dated 10.02.2025, which was subsequently corrected on 13.02.2025, the Committee was directed to decide the claim within five months. The interim protection was granted to the Petitioner, who is a Probationer. The period would conclude on 10.07.2025. Hence, this Petition is filed for extension of time and extension of protection.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits on instructions that the Petitioner would tender an affidavit undertaking to Respondent No. 2 Employer, declaring that he would not claim
-2permanency / regularisation / increments / promotions / service benefits, etc. until his claim is validated. He is on probation and he would continue on probation until his claim is validated, either by the Committee or by any Court. Such affidavit would be tendered in this Court and also to the employer, within 15 days, failing which, this protection shall stand vacated.

The learned AGP submits on instructions that there are thousands of cases which are within a timeline granted by the High Court. In this matter, since the Petitioner is already in employment and is a probationer, the claim would be decided with the due cooperation of the Petitioner, on or before 31.12.2025.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off with following directions :- A.
The Committee would enter into correspondence with the
-3Petitioner on the email address and supply the copy of the Vigilance Cell Inquiry Report on the same.
B.
The Petitioner shall not take a stand that a particular email was not received by him. He would render cooperation to the Committee and refrain from seeking adjournments on unreasonable and trivial grounds.
C.
The Committee shall decide the claim of the Petitioner by delivering a reasoned order, on or before 31.12.2025 and the same would be communicated to the Petitioner on his email address.
D.
If the Petitioner suffers an adverse order, the affidavit undertaking would continue to bind him and the protection would continue in the light of the same.
