The Petitioner is challenging the grant of maintenance to the Respondent, who is the daughter of the Petitioner, granted vide order dated 29.03.2025, below Exhibit 11, passed by the Judge, Family Court, Mumbai.

According to the Petitioner, he is not challenging the maintenance granted in favour of Respondent, only the quantum of the maintenance that is granted by the Judge, Family Court, Mumbai.

Mr. Bahraiz Irani, learned Advocate has instructions to appear on behalf of the Respondent.

Issue notice to the Respondent, returnable on 9th July, 2025.

Mr. Irani, learned Advocate for the Respondent waives service of notice on behalf of the Respondent No.1. 6.

In the meanwhile, the Petitioner shall deposit 50% of the arrears within a period of 3 weeks. Ms. Gokhale, the learned Advocate for the Petitioner, further makes a statement on instructions that she will endeavor to clear the rest of the amount within a period of 6 weeks from today. The Respondent shall file the reply affidavit within a period of 3 weeks and serve a copy of the affidavit in advance to the learned Advocate for the Petitioner.
