Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

This petition has been filed against an order dated 25th March 2025, whereby the respondent No.1 as the Appellate Authority has granted stay to the order of the respondent No.2Divisional Commissioner. By the said order, the respondent No.3 had been removed from the elected position of Sarpanch, by exercising power under Section 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959.

The petitioner is one of the complainants and it is on the basis of such complaint that action was taken by the respondent No.2-Commissioner.

This Court is of the opinion that the impugned is only an interim order and that the appeal is still pending before the

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent No.1 to hear and dispose of the pending appeal on or before 31st July 2025.

This Court has not made any observation on the merits of the matter.
