The learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the Respondents sought time to file an Affidavit in Reply to the above Writ Petition. 2.

Acceding to his request, we direct that the reply shall be filed on or before 24th December 2025 and a copy of the same shall be served on the Advocate for the Petitioner. We now place the above matter on board on 12th January 2026.

In the meanwhile, without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties, there will be an Ad-Interim relief in terms of prayer clause (d) which reads thus:- "(d) That pending the hearing and final disposal of the present petition, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to stay the operation of the impugned order of assessment dated 27.03.2025 passed under section 143(3) read with section 144B (Exhibit I1); the notice dated 27.03.2025 (Exhibit I-2) under section 156 and show cause notices dated 27.03.2025 proposing to impose penalty under section 270A (Exhibit I-3) and under section 271AAC (Exhibit I-4)."

The Ad-Interim relief shall continue till the next date. 5.

Stand over to 12th January 2026.
