Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

By this petition, the petitioner essentially seeks a direction 1/3

to the respondent No.2 - Sub Regional Transport Officer, Karad, District - Satara, to register the petitioner's vehicle namely Royal Enfield Bullet Thunderbird 350 having its engine No. 0355 COFA 673602 and chassis No. ME3U355C1FB, 162039 and to provide registration documents of the said vehicle.

Without going into the merits of the petition, Mr. Samant, learned Addl.G.P has tendered a letter dated 7th July, 2025 addressed to him by the respondent No.2 - Sub Regional Transport Officer, Karad, District - Satara. The said letter is taken on record. 2.

From the said letter, it appears that the respondent No.2 is ready to register the petitioner's vehicle, subject to the conditions stipulated in para 10 of the said letter i.e. submission of a PUC Certificate, insurance, indemnity bond and the vehicle is in a running condition i.e. roadworthy. Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that he will submit all the necessary documents as sought for by the respondent No.2, at the earliest within one week from today. 2/3

Statement accepted.

Learned Addl.G.P, on instructions, states that thereafter, within three weeks, the respondent No.2 will register the vehicle in question, and provide the registered document for the same. Statement accepted.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the petition.

Petition stands disposed of accordingly.

Stand over to 6th July, 2025. To be listed under the caption 'for recording compliance'.
