Dr. Sabban, learned counsel for the Petitioner, has placed on record the communication dated 12th September 2024 addressed by the Land Acquisition and Management (Pune Municipal Corporation) to the Collector stating that the property bearing Survey No.55 would be acquired.

Accordingly, Dr. Sabban submits that the aforesaid Petition Shivgan 1/2

25-WP-8158-2025.doc can be disposed of by directing the State Government/Special Land Acquisition Officer to consider the Corporation's proposal and initiate acquisition proceedings expeditiously.

Accordingly, we direct the State Government to consider the Corporation's proposal in accordance with law for initiation of acquisition proceedings and payment of compensation. All these to be done expeditiously and preferably within one year from the date of uploading of this order.

Petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 6.

We make it clear, that we have not gone into the merits of the Corporation's proposal and as such, keep all contentions of all parties on merits open.
