Versus
The State of Maharashtra and ors.
...Respondents
**** Mr. Anurag Rajendra Kulkarni, for the Petitioner. Ms.Reena A. Salunkhe, AGP for the Respondent- State. **** CORAM :
M.S.KARNIK AND N.R.BORKAR, JJ.
DATE :
30th JUNE, 2025 P.C. :
1.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned AGP raised an objection that Original Application ("OA", for short) is listed before the Tribunal on 04/07/2025. OA is filed in June 2024. We are conscious that the Tribunal will hear the OA expeditiously. We are further conscious that the Tribunal has to deal with several OAs.
2.
In the present case, OA is filed for fixing the regular pension of the petitioner and pay her gratuity and leave encashment along with 10% interest. As the OA is pending with the Tribunal, we are
Ingale 17-wp-8241-25.odt not inclined to interfere with the petition. However, considering that the relief is for fixing the regular pension of the petitioner and pay her gratuity and leave encashment along with 10% interest, we request the Tribunal to expedite the hearing of the OA. Considering the relief prayed for, we have no doubt that Tribunal will expeditiously decide the OA, preferably by the end of December 2025.
3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner to co-operate with the Tribunal and should not ask for any unnecessary adjournment. 4.
The writ petition is disposed of.
