At the outset, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to amend to implead the Petitioner's husband, i.e., Sunil Shrikrishna Likhite, as party Respondent No.3. Leave granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith during the course of the day. 2.
By this Petition, the Petitioner seeks her appointment as a Legal Guardian of the Respondent No.3, who is in a vegetative state, to deal with the properties and to manage both, the movable and immovable properties of her husband-Sunil Shrikrishna Likhite. Gaikwad RD 1/2

Issue notice to the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 returnable on 15th July 2025. Learned Additional Government Pleader waives notice on behalf of Respondent No.2.

In the meantime, we direct the B.J. Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, Pune to constitute a Medical Board consisting of Neurologist and other doctors to examine the Respondent No.3 at his residence, given in the cause title of the Petition considering that he is in a vegetative state. 5.
Learned AGP to forthwith communicate this order to the Dean, B.J. Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, Pune, so as to enable them to constitute a Medical Board and submit a report to this Court with respect to the medical condition of the Respondent No.3.

Ms. Bharucha, learned counsel to inform the Respondent No.1 of the next date, to enable the Respondent No.1 to appoint an advocate on behalf of Respondent No.1.
