The principal prayer in the present writ petition pertains to a consideration of the claim of the petitioner under the 12.5% Land Allotment Scheme by lottery.

The learned counsel appearing for the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd. (CIDCO) submits that the petition is rendered infructuous, as allotment of a developed plot in the said scheme was already made in favour of the father of the petitioner i.e. Dhanaji Sawlaram Thali on 11th June 2025.

We find that this writ petition was filed in May 2025 and the aforesaid allotment appears to have been made subsequent thereto.
