By this petition, the petitioner - landlord seeks a direction to the learned District Judge, Thane, to decide the application (Exhibit-30) for determination of compensation for unlawful occupation, expeditiously.

The learned Counsel for the respondent seeks leave to file an affidavit-in-reply.

The respondent, inter alia, informed that on 5th April, 2025, the said application (Exhibit-30) was heard and now the matter is adjourned to 28th July, 2025 for hearing. 1/2

The learned District Judge seized with RCA/121/2016 is requested to decide the said application (Exhibit-89) after providing further opportunity of hearing, if required, and pass appropriate order expeditiously and, in any event, before hearing RCA/121/2016 finally.
