By this petition, the petitioner presses for the alternative relief, namely, a direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the petitioner's Tribe Claim in light of the judgments of the Apex Court, as expeditiously as possible, considering that the petitioner is a student aspiring to secure admission to an engineering course under the Scheduled Tribes category. 6-WP-9118-2025.doc Learned A.G.P., appearing on behalf of all the respondents, on instructions, states that respondent No. 2 will decide the petitioner's caste claim as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, within four weeks from today. Statement accepted.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the petition. The petition stands disposed of. Needless to state, that we have not gone into the merits of the petition, and all contentions of all parties on merits are kept open.
