1.
The petitioner is aggrieved by an order dated 5th June 2025 passed by the Assistant Registrar, Co-operative Societies disqualifying the petitioner purportedly under the provisions contained in 154B-23
(1) (3) of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960. 2.
The petitioner has, in fact, preferred a revision against the said order i.e. R.A. No. 227 of 2025 before the Divisional Joint Registrar. In the said revision the petitioner preferred an application for stay of order passed by the Assistant Registrar, Co-operative Societies. varsha
27-wp-9133-2025.doc 3.
The primary grievance of the petitioner seems to be that, the Revisional Authority has not heard the application for stay and posted the matter for further hearing on 21st July 2025; which defeats the purpose of filing the stay application.
4.
It appears that on 30th June 2025, the Revisional Authority heard the parties and thereafter adjourned the matter for further hearing to 21st July 2025.
5.
Having regard to the nature of the grievance and the urgency pleaded on behalf of the petitioner, it would be expedient in the interest of justice that the stay application is heard and decided by the Revisional Authority, expeditiously.
6.
The Court, therefore, considers it appropriate to request the Revisional Authority to prepone the hearing in Revisional Application No. 227 of 2025 to 14th July 2025.
7.
The parties shall appear before the Revisional Authority on 14th July 2025 at 12.00 noon. The Revisional Authority is requested to make an endeavour to hear and decide the stay application as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from 14th July 2025.
8.
The petition stands disposed.
