The challenge in this Writ Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is to the legality and validity of the order dated 17th March 2025 passed by the Additional Divisional Commissioner, Pune in Revision No.18 of 2025. By the impugned order, the Petitioner has been directed to deposit 50% of the amount directed to be paid by the Competent Authority and stay Sonali

944-WP-9484-2025.DOC has been granted to eviction. The said 50% amount comes to about Rs.27,00,000/-. The period of Leave and License Agreement has expired on 1st June 2019. The Petitioner is occupying the subject premises for last about six years and six months after expiry of period of leave and license without making any payment. 3.

Accordingly, no interference in the impugned order is warranted under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. 4.

The Writ Petition is dismissed, however, with cost of Rs.25,000/-. The said cost be paid to the Respondents within a period of four weeks from today.
