By this Petition, the Petitioner seeks a direction to appoint the Respondent No.2 Lt. Colonel Sood as the guardian of their minor children aged 9 and 10 years respectively.

During the hearing of aforesaid Petition, we interacted the Petitioner, the Respondent No.2, who is appearing through video conferencing and the Respondent No.2's parents, who are personally present in Court, though they are not parties to the Petition. Considering the nature of dispute being a family dispute and in the interest of the two children aged 9 years and 10 years respectively, an interim arrangement has been worked out.

The Petitioner, who is present in person in Court agrees to Gaikwad RD 1/2

911-wp-9613-2025.doc send the two children to her in-laws, who are living in the close vicinity of her house, on Saturday and Sunday for two to three hours. The Petitioner will drop the two children to the Respondent No.2's parent's house and the Respondent No.2's parents shall drop the two children back to the Petitioner's house after two to three hours. 4.

The Respondent No.2 is serving in Indian Army and is currently posted in New Delhi and is unable to come and appear in person. He requests that the matter be kept in the Chambers on the next date, so as to enable him to appear in person, post 15th August. 5.

Presently, stand over to 30th July 2025, on the supplementary board. The next date will be given post 15th August 2025, after hearing the parties.

Needless to state that, in the meantime, the Respondent shall continue to comply with the order relating to payment of maintenance to the Petitioner.

Considering that an endeavour is being made to amicably resolve the dispute, in the meantime, till the next date, all proceedings inter se between the parties shall be kept in abeyance. (DR.
