ORDER :

This petition is filed seeking following reliefs :- "a.

This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the Respondents to revise the list of qualified candidates for interview, dated 27.03.2025 for CJJD & JMFC 2023, thereby excluding the names of candidates who are already selected in General Merit List dated 29.03.2025 for Post of CJJD and JMFC-2022. b.

This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the Respondents to expedite the process of publishing the final recommendation list as well as verification of documents and medical examination with respect to the subject 48 students who are selected for the post of CJJD & JMFC 2022 Advt No.40/2024 and also found qualified for interview for same post in Advt. No.46/2024.

That during the pendency and final disposal of the present Writ Petition, the Respondents may be directed to

9846.2025WP.odt revise and publish the list of qualified candidates for interview, dated 27.03.2025 for CJJD & JMFC 2023 and thereby excluding the names of candidates who were already selected in General Merit List dated 29.03.2025 for Post of CJJD and JMFC-2022.

That during the pendency of this Writ Petition the Respondents may be directed to permit the present Petitioners to appear for Interview if at all interview process for the post of Civil Judge Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate First Class is commenced arising out of Advertisement bearing No. 46 of 2024;"

Learned Government Pleader has placed on record copy of the order dated 14.01.2026 passed at the Principal Seat of this Court (Coram : Shree Chandrashekhar, CJ & Gautam A. Ankhad, J.), thereby directing the Maharashtra Public Service Commission to publish a list of candidates who shall be called for interviews as per extant rules and norms and of course if they are qualifying the benchmark. In that order detail directions are given and the writ petitions seeking similar reliefs are disposed of. The case of the petitioners is squarely covered by the said order.

Pursuant to the said direction, the M.P.S.C. has published a revised list of qualified candidates on 25.02.2026, in which, in the list of Aurangabad, the petitioner's name appears at Sr. No.94. In this view of the matter, purpose of filing present petition is served. Writ Petition is therefore disposed of.
