We have heard Mr. Patil, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

The only prayer clause which is pressed for in this petition is prayer clause (b) which reads thus:

" This Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct Respondent No.2 to process the Petitioner's application dated 07.03.2024 and provide a reasoned decision within a specified period."

It is contended by the petitioner that the application dated 7 March 2024 filed by the petitioner praying for his eligibility, is pending with the Additional Collector (Encroachment and Removal). Let said application be decided as expeditiously as possible, and in any event, within a period of three months from the date a copy of this order is presented before respondent No.2. 4.

All contentions of the parties are expressly kept open. We have not examined any other contentions which may arise.

Disposed of. No costs.
