The petitioner-Vivek Balasaheb Yadav is seeking a direction to the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Satara to take a final decision on the proposal dated 21st April 2025 forwarded by Sanjeevani Shikshan Sanstha-respondent no.6 and Bhairavnath Vidyalaya-respondent no.7. The petitioner is also seeking a direction to the Deputy Director of Education, Kolhapur Region to allot Shalarth ID to him and include his name in the Shalarth Pranali for online payment of salary.

The petitioner claims that he posses the qualification of Master in Science and has obtained a B.Ed qualification. He further states that he passed MS-CIT examination and secured 79 marks in the TAIT examination. The petitioner further states that the Education Officer (Secondary) did not grant permission for publishing an advertisement for appointment on the post of Shikshan Sevak (Assistant Teacher ) which had fallen vacant on superannuation of 1/2

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the refusal by the Educational Officer (Secondary) to grant permission for advertisement for appointment on the vacant post of Assistant Teacher was on the ground that such recruitment should be made through Pavitra Portal but that decision was not in consonance with the settled legal position. Therefore, the Headmaster of the Bhairavnath Vidyalaya made several representations. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proposal dated 21st April 2025 forwarded by the Headmaster of Bhairavnath Vidyalaya is pending consideration before the Education Officer (Secondary) and no decision has been taken thereon.

In the background of the aforementioned factual position, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Education Officer (Secondary) to take a decision on the proposal dated 21st April 2025 within a period of six weeks.

Writ Petition No.10235 of 2025 is disposed of with aforesaid direction to the Education Officer (Secondary)-respondent no.5. [MANJUSHA DESHPANDE, J.] [SHREE CHANDRASHEKHAR, J. ] 2/2
